I rule I You rule You
Why are we here and what we gonna do?
So many questions, trying to live on my best lens
It be loyals and family / I ain’t got no best friends
But before my tracks fall of the trail
Got a hit list for forgiveness, set sail
I used to think I didn’t care
On the road to right it now before my soul crosses the realm
Like water to rock over time, on the low, life will shape you
See what your fears, your failures your wins and your challenges made you
Putting paper in our pocket our way / Complex, evolve and rotate
In on the parlay mmmkay / Every hour it’s a payday
Repeat repeat repeat, writing these bars in my seat
Massaging the grind, training my mind
Omens fly by in my dreams
Situation with words, yeah / Slashing doubt with my sword
Nice spice up in the gravy / Way is open go crazy
Breeze across the green / Orange all on the leaves
All in we never lease / Confer with all the G’s
Like water to rock over time, on the low, life will shape you
See what your fears, your failures your wins and your challenges made you
Broadcast from the middle of the Palawans
Salamat Po been working on my tagalog
Art Bell chopping up the block, keep my saber tip sharp,
spitting on mic tops nonstop, like a clock
Bull Girl she’s a mountain unmovable
Crying for the world unsoothable
Get a grip on point, let me pen another joint
When I walk through them doors trynna have mad points
Like water to rock over time, on the low, life will shape you
See what your fears, your failures your wins and your challenges made you

This is the latest from ETC Records group Dia.L. Soulful production and vocals. Very Chicago. All ETC Records artists are worth checking out. A. Billi Free
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
